New Arts and Crafts Exhibitor Building

Construction new Arts and Crafts Building

Crews are working long hours to finish the new Arts and Crafts Exhibitor Building for the Dodge County Fair

A new and expanded open class exhibition building will allow for more participants to open the 126th Dodge County Fair.  A new generation of bakers, knitters, crafters and the popularity of digital cameras has increased demand for additional exhibit space.

“It’s a good problem to have”, says fair secretary Sharon Keil.  “Increased exhibitor entries tells us that more people want to be involved in the Fair.”

Crews have been busy this summer removing the old building and rebuilding on the same site. Construction is well underway and scheduled to be finished just in time for the County Fair.  The new building will be 50% larger than the previous building and have updated electrical, concrete floor and new displays.  The finished building will measure 54′ x 74′.

We appreciate all the hard work and dedication from everyone involved.

Improvement projects on the Fairgrounds are primarily funded by ticket sales and facility rental fees.  You can support the grounds through word of mouth, bringing friends and family to events and suggesting our location for your company outing or activities.

There are several opportunities for sponsors to support the new Arts & Crafts Building.  Displays, shelves and islands will be needed to fill this great new building and would be a great way to contribute to the community.  Sponsors large or small can contact Paul Clements at advertising@dodgecountyfairgrounds.com.  Donations of a products or services to finish this project will be greatly appreciated, please contact Sharon Keil at 920-885-3586 or fair@dodgecountyfairgrounds.com.
