Family Fun in 100 days at the Dodge County Fair

Youth Learn at the County Fair

Area youth learn valuable skills at the Dodge County Fair near Beaver Dam, WI

Families from Dodge County communities and beyond will flock to the Dodge County Fairgrounds in just 100 days. The annual Dodge County Fair starts August 19th and runs for five days Wednesday thru Sunday. Carnival rides, games and wonderful fair food will be enjoyed by all.

Need a rainy day project for the kids this summer? Being an exhibitor teaches responsibility and gives them a sense of pride and satisfaction in what they have completed. Participating in project judging also helps young people develop their own evaluative and critical thinking skills. They learn to evaluate their own project and those of others. Meeting with the judge gives youth time to talk about the project, how they choose it, steps taken to complete it and any challenges along the way. Involve your youth today by contacting the UW Extension Office in Juneau or calling 920-386-3790 Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Concerts during the Fair is another popular event that has a lot of people asking, “Who’s playing at the Fair?” The Fair Association gets requests and suggestions for the grandstand entertainment almost on a daily basis. Due to advertising limits we cannot advertise the acts on our website, a press release by the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen can help you make plans and get vacation for your favorite concerts.

Stay updated and informed! Bookmark our site, check back often for upcoming events or subscribe to our newsletter for weekly reminders. Plan now, save the dates, get vacation from work and have a blast at the 2015 Dodge County Fair August 19-23.
