Wristband Day on the Midway, Cream Puff Eating Contest and The Guess Who concert on the Grandstand Stage just a few of the many events scheduled on day three of the Dodge County Fair. Use our online schedule below to plan out your affordable family entertainment day at the Fair.
Stop to smell the flowers, participating 4-H clubs and FFA chapters were given a large planter to design and plant how they desire, keep in their community, and then bring to the Dodge County Fair. The planters will be judged and placed around the Fairgrounds for everyone to enjoy. Sponsored by; Brehm’s Wonder Creek Nursery, Ebert’s Greenhouse Village, and the Dodge County Fair Association.
The Kiddie Pedal Pull starts at 11:30am in front of the grandstand. The Fairest of the Fair will be awarding kids who can pedal the farthest when pulling the mini sled. Tractors are provided, registration and weigh-in starts at 11:15am.
Fill-up on fair food for lunch and be ready at 12:00 Noon because it’s Wristband Day on the Midway! Purchase a $25 wristband and ride as many rides as you can from Noon to 5pm. If you can’t brave all the rides or want to ride just a few then buy tickets individually for $1.25 each or 10 for $10. Visit our Midway Rides Page for more information.
4H has talent! Enjoy vocal and instrumental performances by area 4H youth on the Radio Park Stage starting at 1pm. The judges will score their performances for 4H awards and achievements. Then it’s fun and games till 4:30pm in Radio Park. Arrive early to get a seat for the 19th annual Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest. Uncle Bill will broadcast LIVE on WXRO 95.3 FM during the Barn Show as area celebrities compete against the clock.
The Guess Who will fill the grandstands, pack the track area and have them on their feet at 8pm! All seats and standing areas on the track are FREE with paid admission to the Fair. All areas are available on a first come, first serve basis. You can stand on the track or sit on the bleachers in the grandstands. After the concert, enjoy music in Radio Park and the Legion Tent. Listen to music by ALEXIS on the WBEV/WXRO Radio Park Stage. Alexis continues to pound out classic rock gems from yesterday, last week Thursday, and the hard rockin’ ‘70’s. Request your favorite tunes in the Legion Bar with DJ Jeff Hall from 9 to 11:30pm sponsored by WXRO 95.3FM and WBEV 1430AM.
