This year’s Dodge County Fair attendees will notice a much-needed building on the west side of the fairgrounds this summer. Construction of a new commercial exhibit building is currently underway. The 60 ft by 120 ft structure will showcase dozens of vendors and businesses at the 131st Dodge County Fair August 15-19, 2018.

Over one hundred vendors showcased their products and services during the 2017 fair season, distributed in several tents on the fairgrounds. Even more exhibitors are expected this year. The addition of the new building will accommodate up to fourty-six vendors in the new space. Indoor vendor booths will be spacious 10 ft x 10 ft spaces, featuring electricity and backdrops. Commercial tents will be provided in addition and can be expanded on request. Previous vendors have included local services, home-based businesses and companies. Booths showcased health and beauty products, home remodeling and repair services, food vendors and various boutiques and a unique shopping experience while attending the fair.

Vendors will be on hand to share their products and services with attendees, answer consumer questions and offer samples and try-before-you-buy experiences. Netwurx high-speed wireless internet will also be available for vendors and attendees in the new commercial building.

The Dodge County Fair will take place on August 15-19 and draws more than 50,000 attendees annually. The free entertainment lineup features a truck and tractor pull and demolition derby, as well as a free evening concert series. 2018 evening entertainment on the grandstand includes The Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Janson, and Grand Funk Railroad with Foghat as their special guest.

The new exhibitor building will also be available for rental throughout the spring, summer and fall months, as well as provide winter storage. Companies and local groups are invited to rent this new space for public or private events and parties. Contact Sharon Keil for building rentals at [email protected] or leave a voicemail at 920-885-3586. Groups interested in tours of the facility may contact Dodge County Fair Association President, Doug Ninmann at 920-210-1216.

Interested exhibitors and groups wishing to rent a 10’x10’ booth space for the County Fair should complete an online application form to express interest. Spaces in the new building are first come, first served. All other exhibitors will be set-up in traditional tents with backdrops and electricity provided. After online application receipt Don & Mary Jane Fabisch, Space Managers will contact you for completion of contract and arrange payment.

As a non-profit organization, the Dodge County Fair Association welcomes donations to support improvements and upgrades to the facility. Income from boat and RV winter storage funds building maintenance and upkeep of the grounds. Ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations help move the facility forward for all to enjoy.

Adding a structure of this size is an exciting moment for the Fair Association. It opens up many possibilities to hosting youth educational events plus added safety and security for exhibitors. Sponsorship opportunities of all types’ are available throughout the year, more information on the Marketing Page of our website.
