Mark your calendars for six flea market and craft fair dates throughout the 2019 season. Attendees will find new and vintage collectables at each monthly event. Dates are scheduled at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays mornings: May 25, June 15, July 20, August 24, September 21 and October 19. Arrive early to find the best assortment of new items and unique treasures.
These events are absolutely FREE with complimentary parking. Items will be showcased both indoors and outdoors during the season and will be held rain or shine. More than one hundred vendors are expected to be displaying something for everyone – whether you collect something specific or shop for fun. Come to browse or ready to purchase vintage tools, unique collectibles and knick-knacks, handmade items, lawn art, thrift clothing, toys, crafts and home decor. Shop from various small businesses and local vendors. Limited local, fresh produce will also be available for purchase throughout the season. Concessions will also be available.
Frosty’s Fosters Animal Rescue, an organization that helps find displaced animals forever families in the Dodge County area, has previously helped coordinate concession stands at the Fairgrounds. Volunteers from the non-profit organization will now be coordinating the 2019 flea market and craft fair season. Support the organization and their cause by attending the craft fair and purchasing from the concession stand. Frosty’s Fosters started their passion of helping animals with local cats and kittens, then later expanded to rescuing dogs from all over the country, after discovering how many dogs were without homes in the southern section of the United States. The rescue still helps local animals find homes but has a strong emphasis in the southern United States, primarily Alabama. If you are interested in donating your time, goods or services to Frosty’s Animal Rescue and their cause, patrons should visit their website for more information. An application for adoption is also accessible online.
Along with coordinating this year’s flea market and craft fair, Frosty’s Animal Rescue, has been coordinating several other adoption events and fundraisers in the Dodge County area to help promote their cause and encourage the adoption of these displaced animals. Benvenuto’s Italian Grill in Beaver Dam will be donating 20% of all sales on Tuesday, March 19 to the organization. Just mention the promotion when placing your meal order between 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.
Interested flea market and craft fair businesses and vendors should reserve their space and inquire about booth rates by contacting Maggie Haessly Drewa at Frosty’s Animal Rescue at frostysfostersfleamarket@gmail.com.
Patrons should consider bringing extra shopping bags, wagons and shopping carts to transport their purchases to their vehicles.
