The Dodge County Fair Association would like to thank everyone who attended the 2019 Dodge County Fair season and made this year’s festival another success. Attendees, volunteers and organizers worked together to make this year’s fair successful, safe and fun for everyone! The 47,000 attendees who entered through the gates enjoyed dozens of activities, concerts and live entertainment each day, during the five day festival in Beaver Dam on August 14-18.

Morning showers may have made the grounds a little wetter on three of the mornings, but only one event was cancelled – the Sunday morning truck pull by Pernat Haase Meats. Attendees were still able to enjoy free entertainment on the tracks with the Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull on Saturday and Demolition Derby events on Sunday. Despite the wet mornings, 2019 attendance was up by almost 4,000 visitors overall from last year.

The family-friendly stages and the midway rides were again a huge hit among children and their parents. Nick’s Kids Show (sponsored by Kwik Trip), the Wild World of Animals (sponsored by Richelieu Foods) and the Pig, Duck and Goat Races (sponsored by Moraine Park Technical College) drew large crowds each day.

Thousands of attendees enjoyed free live music from some popular acts – up close and personal on the outdoor stage in Beaver Dam. Three free concerts drew large crowds with their diverse sounds and recognizable hits from the past several decades: Sawyer Brown (Thursday), LANCO (Friday) and both Great White and Slaughter (Saturday).

Dodge County looks forward to welcoming you and your family next year with an equally-thrilling entertainment lineup, live music, youth education and showmanship and popular, family-friendly activities at the 2020 Dodge County Fair.
