If you are redecorating your home or outdoor space during your forced downtime this season, you are sure to find many distinctive pieces and furniture at this month’s flea market and craft fair. The August event will be held on Saturday, August 29. Let your space stand apart from others or repurpose and upcycle furniture and antiques to make them trendy and fresh.

Browse dozens of booths and tables throughout the Fairgrounds. More than ninety vendors showcased their unique items in July. Booths will again be arranged both indoors and outdoors for browsing.

Spruce up your yard with unique lawn art, yard ornaments, bird houses and unique planters. Get comfortable on your patio with cozy chairs, tables and pillows for a cozy outdoor retreat at home. Handmade signs, wreaths and antique outdoor yard games are also available for purchase.

Bring aged furniture back to life with some fresh paint and new hardware. An assortment of wooden and metal pieces are always looking for a new home. Add an antique vase or frame to your empty countertop or surface. Vintage baskets, bins and suitcases are also routinely available. These make great storage options as you organize your home.

Three flea markets remain for the 2020 season: August 29, September 19 and October 17. The events are scheduled from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm throughout the Dodge County Fairgrounds.

Direct-sales companies and crafters are also welcome. Only one direct-sales vendor per company is allowed each month.

More vendors are welcome for the events that remain this summer and fall.  Interested vendors should complete the online registration form to secure their space. The booth rental fee is only $20 per event (plus a $1 online processing fee). Questions should be sent via email to [email protected].

Shoppers and vendors are both encouraged to wear face coverings while walking around the Fairgrounds. Fashionable, handmade masks will be available for purchase from local vendors. Vendors continue to be thankful for the purchases that are made at these monthly events.

The concession stand will continue to support Frosty’s Fosters Animal Rescue, a local organization that helps animals in the community that are in need of a loving, forever home. Fresh, local produce will also be available at this month’s event.
