Obedience and rally obedience competitions will take place in additional buildings across the Fairgrounds.  More than one hundred dogs are expected to be on site.

The kids will think that this is the perfect event, too. After enjoying their favorite treats and the dog show, families will enjoy the hands-on petting zoo experience (Glacier Rock Farms), a delightful face painting booth (Life’s a Party Face Painting), and the kids will be jumping for joy in the popular bounce house (Bovee’s Backyard Bouncers).

This Saturday’s festival will feature additional live music, original hits and covers from a variety of local talent. Sam Mauk (11am-12pm) will step on stage with recognizable hits from Johnny Cash, Bob Segar and other old country and soft rock sounds. A variety of rock and alternative sounds from groups like Metallica, Van Halen, Garbage and the Foo Fighters will be included on the playlist by Ground Zero (5-7pm). Then sing along as Secondhand Souls (2-3pm) will share a variety of modern rock hits on stage. 26z (12:30-1:30pm) and Blue Suede Cadillacs (3:30-4:30pm) will also return, sharing more from their performances in April.

Additional events this season include June 4, July 16, September 17 and October 1. The 2022 Dodge County Fair, scheduled for August 17-21, will provide an even more diverse assortment of activities and entertainment for the whole family at the Fairgrounds.

Musicians and talent should contact Mac Daddy Entertainment at [email protected] to schedule their performance at one of the other upcoming events. Vendors will receive high voltage electricity, water access, restrooms and garbage receptacles.
