Community members who wish to benefit from the Mobile Pantry Program are encouraged to bring bags, boxes, wagons or other containers to help transport the food they receive. No pre-registration, ID or proof of residency is required. Use entrance on High Point Road from Hwy 33. Distribution takes place in shelter under the grandstand but it is not heated so please dress appropriately. Occurs every 2nd Saturday of the month, beginning at 10am; registration begins at 9:45am. I see it’s from 10am to 11am. So at 11 if there is still people waiting do the doors still close at 11?
In past events everyone has gone through the pick-up line by 10:30 or 10:45 at the latest. The only way someone would be turned away is if the food has all been distributed, suggest arrival at 9:30am to register and get a place in line.
