Are you looking for free, family friendly entertainment this summer? Planning a fun ladies night out – to sing and dance? Or just want to get together with the guys? Plan a visit to the 2018 Dodge County Fair on August 15-19. In addition to the fair exhibits and midway carnival, FREE events and a unique concert lineup will take place Wednesday through Saturday evening of the fair. Join the other 50,000+ visitors that walk through the fairground gates annually and leave with an unforgettable experience. Bring your family; bring your friends; play, dance and sing along.

Wednesday evening will feature a much-anticipated lineup of pro-stock tractors and diesel trucks from all across the country, when the Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull provides free entertainment for the crowd in the grandstands. The Badger State Tractor Pullers have been hooking in fans recently, with their regular feature on Discover Wisconsin TV. Vehicles will speed down the Dodge County Fair track over 25 MPH pulling a sled weighing 40,000 pounds. The event will kick-off at 7:00 pm and last through the evening.

The Oak Ridge Boys will take the stage with their non-stop chart toppers on Thursday evening at 8:00 pm.  This is the quartet’s fourth appearance at the Dodge County Fair, where fans have always enjoyed dancing and singing along to their country gospel hits “Elvira”, “Bobbie Sue” and “American Made”, among many others. Earlier this year, The Oak Ridge Boys released their newest album, “17th Avenue Revival”, which was produced at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A.

Friday evening will feature fresh country music sensation, Chris Janson on the grandstand stage at 8:00 pm. Fans will recognize Janson’s biggest hits, “Buy Me a Boat”, Fix a Drink” and “Drunk Girl”, which People Magazine called a “heart-piercing ballad”. Garth Brooks hand-selected Janson to join him at the final show of his three-year World Tour in Nashville in December. Fans aren’t going to want to pass up the opportunity to see this rising sensation take the stage in Beaver Dam.

Admirers will sing along to popular 70’s hits, when Foghat and Grand Funk Railroad deliver an exceptional lineup on Saturday evening. Foghat will take the stage with signature hair flips and the tossing of guitar picks at 8:00 pm and Grand Funk Railroad will complete the concert lineup later that evening. Among the two bands, they have collected twenty-one Gold records, eleven Platinum records and one Double-Platinum record. Fans will recognize Foghat’s “Slow Ride” and “Fool For The City” and Grand Funk Railroad’s first number one hit single “We’re An American Band”. Fans won’t be able to resist singing along to their other hit sensations, too – including “Some Kind of Wonderful”, “Walk Like a Man” and “The Loco-Motion”. Grand Funk Railroad became the best-selling band of their generation and they broke the Beatles’ record 47 years ago this summer. The group will deliver an exceptional performance, that will take you back to 1971.

Concert and tractor pull admission is always free. Concert goers simply need to pay their admission to the Fair. 2018 Dodge County Fair season tickets are only $27 before August 15 and $35 at the gate. Attend the fair for only $5.40 per day with the purchase of a 2018 season ticket.  Daily gate admission is $7 before 12:00 pm; or $10 after 12:00 pm.  Children age nine and under receive free admission.
