The Badger State Tractor Pullers (BSTP) are all fueled-up for another entertaining show at this year’s Dodge County Fair. The pull will kick-off FREE evening entertainment at this year’s fair season. High horsepower and blowing, black smoke will fill the August 16 event from 7-10 pm.
The much-anticipated annual event doesn’t have too many unnecessary upgrades, for what has been a solid, engaging event for many fair seasons. Tires will be rotating again at high-speed as approximately sixty competitors complete in six different classes across the two 300 ft tracks. Competitors will take their turns pulling weight transfer sleds the farthest across the parallel tracks. Non-stop action and updates from your favorite competitors can be watched from the grandstands, while the action will be magnified on the over-sized video screens. Get competitive along with the drivers, as the video board keeps fans pulling for their favorites with the leaderboard and replays.
With admission as low as $7, attendees only need to pay their gate admission to the Dodge County Fair. Entrance into the grandstands is free and seats are available on a first come basis. This event draws close to 4,000 viewers each season, so arrive early to grab your spot. Fans should bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the fun comfortably in the vibrating bleacher seating.
Classifications will include: Pro-stock Tractor (PST), Limited Prostock Tractor (LPST), 540 Light Pro Tractor (540LP), Super Farm (SF), Light Limited Super Stock Tractor (LLSS), Limited Pro Diesel Truck (LPDT). The event will feature various pro stock tractors and some of the top-running diesel trucks in the nation. Competitors will have a driver’s meeting at 6:15 and should plan to arrive at least one hour prior to the event.
“The spacious and fantastic facility make the Dodge County Fair one of the premier events for the year on the BSTP schedule”, shares Alan Paulson from BSTP, the premier pulling association in Wisconsin. Don’t miss this free event featuring some of the best competitors in the Midwest and the nation.
Arrive early on Wednesday and enjoy fair food, live entertainment or the midway rides. Ride wristbands will be discounted to $25 from 1-5pm before the pull. If you haven’t gotten enough of the live action, make sure to return on Sunday for the Pernat Haase Meats 4WD Truck Pull and demolition derbies.
