The crew from Radio Park has been busy planning for the Dodge County Fair and has another great line-up full of activities, entertainment and demonstrations. Radio Park is made possible by the planning and personnel from WXRO 95.3 FM, WBEV 1430 AM and Good Karma Brands. Radio Park is located just east of the Open Class Exhibit Building with shade trees, picnic tables, benches and an entertainment stage. Make a point to enjoy one or more of the events in Radio Park at the 2016 Dodge County Fair, August 17-21, 2016.

Wednesday, August 17th

Learn some tips and tricks during the Brenda Murphy Idea Exchange 1 to 4pm with demonstrations from; Dodge County Pork Producers, Wisconsin Beef Council, Dodge County Dairy Promotion and Chef Chanse. The WXRO Bash cranks up the excitement this year with music from Madpolecats from 5-7, along with games and prizes. After the main stage the Madpolecats are back on the Radio Park Stage to 11:30pm.

Thursday, August 18th

Thursday is Senior Citizens day at the Fair! FREE Bingo, prizes and music by the Loco Vocals on the Radio Park Stage 1 to 4:30pm. Uncle Bill and the LIVE Barn Show features “Barrel” Racing with the famous WXRO Inflatable Cows from 5 to 6:30pm. Then, at 7pm, WXRO 95.3 FM will broadcast LIVE coverage of the annual Meat Animal Sale from the Farm Progress Arena. Finally, enjoy the music of Dexter Road on the Radio Park Stage after the main stage to 11:30pm.

Friday, August 19th

It’s all about the kids! Enjoy vocal and instrumental performances by area 4H & FFA youth on the Radio Park Stage starting at 1pm. The judges will score their performances for awards and achievements. Then it’s fun and games till 4pm in Radio Park. Arrive early to get a seat for the 21st annual Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest. Uncle Bill will broadcast LIVE on WXRO 95.3 FM during the Barn Show as area celebrities compete against the clock. Stay for the party in Radio Park after the main stage, rock out to classic tunes by Alexis to 11:30pm.

Saturday, August 20th

Come and play! Saturday is Play Day in WXRO WBEV Radio Park. Join us for Trivia Prize Palooza at 3pm with a chance to win LOTS of great prizes! Stop to take a break and enjoy some delicious carnival eats in the park. Then it’s Highfield Drive with hits from today’s top country artists from 5 to 11:30pm with a break during the main stage concert.

Sunday, August 21st

Enjoy live local music at Radio Park on Sunday with the Dam Heathens at 1pm.  Stick around, take a break, the day rounds out with dancing from the Swingin’ Beavers at 3pm.  Area youth display their style in the annual 4H clothing style show at 4pm

Wake up with the roosters Wednesday thru Friday, tune-in to 95.3 FM from 6 to 9am and listen to the Rick and Bill Morning Show LIVE from the Fair.  Special guests and interviews from the Fair along with the local news and weather.

Friday and Saturday nights put your dancing shoes on! DJ Jeff Hall will be taking requests at the Legion Beer Pavilion from 9 to 11:30pm, sponsored by WXRO 95.3FM and WBEV 1430AM.
