Meat Animal Sale

Support the youth of Dodge County by attending the Meat Animal Sale this Thursday at the Farm Progress Arena. Preregistered bidders and buyers will enjoy a complimentary dinner before the auction begins. To be eligible to sell, each exhibitor must participate in various educational activities and raise and show a high-quality animal.

Junior Fair Dairy Showmanship

This event showcases the talents of youth participating in the dairy project and takes place in the Farm Progress Arena. Participants compete in registered and grade classes, alternating by age, starting with spring calves and following a fixed breed rotation. Youth demonstrate their knowledge of dairy education and compete for various showmanship awards, including top production, somatic cell count, and protein production.

Junior Britches Showmanship Contest

Youth entering grades 3 and 4 this school year will have the opportunity to show calves in the Junior Showmanship Contest.
