Fuel-up with delicious fair food and gear-up for some FREE fun for the whole family, when the Badger State Tractor Pullers (BSTP) hosts another tractor pull on opening night of the 2024 Dodge County Fair. Wednesday night will feature non-stop action on two 300 foot tracks for three rousing hours, while fans fill the grandstands for this annual event. Nearly 4,000 fans will enjoy the fun, which begins at 7pm and will continue long after dusk.

Year after year, this event has become an exciting tradition for the Dodge County community, with approximately a half dozen competitors reuniting in Beaver Dam. The popular competition will feature various pro stock tractors and some of the top-running diesel trucks in the country. Classifications will include: Pro-stock Tractor (PST), Limited Prostock Tractor (LPST), 540 Light Pro Tractor (540LP), Super Farm (SF), Light Limited Super Stock Tractor (LLSS), Limited Pro Diesel Truck (LPDT). This is BSTP’s most anticipated event of the entire competition season. Fans can get competitive themselves, while they watch the instant replays and driver stats fend for high placement on the leader boards. Participants will compete to see who can pull weight transfer sleds the furthest across the two action-packed tracks.

Competitors will have a driver’s meeting at 6:15 and should plan to arrive at least one hour prior to the event.

As with all evening entertainment this season, this event is free to attend, with your paid gate admission to the fair. The Dodge County Fair is scheduled August 14-18. Advance ticket sales will afford attendees more time to enjoy at the fair, with faster, convenient entry through the gates. Season tickets may also be purchased for $35 at most Dodge County Banks, Beaver Dam Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office. Tickets are also available at the gates for $10 before 12:00 pm; or $15 after noon. Parking is also free for this event.
