If you tour the country, on a weekend getaway, or travel for business with your RV then check out the new Fairgrounds RV Park. Officially opened this April, the Fairgrounds RV Park offers 25 sites spread throughout the grounds utilizing the existing roads, electrical outlets, water, WIFI internet, and flush restrooms.
Fairgrounds RV Park is one of the positive outcomes from the pandemic of 2020. The non-profit Fair Association lost a significant amount of revenue to maintain the grounds and buildings which is a never-ending chore. Brainstorming sessions developed two new activities, the Fair Food Festival and Fairgrounds RV Park. Both make good use of the existing facilities and generate revenue to cover maintenance and improvements of the facility.
The RV Park is best suited for large Class A Motorhomes and large fifth-wheel Travel Trailers with eleven 50-Amp electric and water sites featuring paved roads and unlimited length pull-through sites. Mid-sized Class C Motorhomes may decide on one of nine 30-Amp sites in the grass parking area. Finally, small Class B units can reserve one of five 20-Amp sites near the Commercial Building. All sites are flexible to suit any size unit, depending on your electrical requirements.
For anyone that likes room to spread out and stretch their legs or play lawn games, there’s plenty of space at the Fairgrounds RV Park. The paved roads around the grounds are great for riding your bicycle or taking a walk. All sites are pull-through with unlimited length, dump station, shower and flush toilets, pet friendly, and cell reception is good unless a large event is on-site. Complimentary WIFI 5-Mbps Internet available at Sites 1-10, and 20-25 on request with an email to [email protected].
Stay the night and tour the area with several sights and events each weekend just a short drive away in the surrounding communities. Fairgrounds RV Park is just a 30-minute drive to Madison and less than an hour to Milwaukee or Oshkosh.
Reserve a site today using the free online scheduling tool on our website followed by self-service registration and payment when you arrive. All proceeds go back into the non-profit Fairgrounds for improvements and updates.
2021 Daily Rates: $40 (50-Amp Site), $30 (30-Amp Site), $20 (20-Amp Site)
