If you don’t already have plans on August 17, you should make “Big, Big Plans” to see Chris Lane at the Dodge County Fair. Lane’s sold-out 2020 Big, Big Plans tour and astonishing Fill Them Boots Tour last year are already in the books. But, Lane has something even more exciting planned for fans this summer. Lane recently committed to a new record label and has been creating a new collection of innovative tracks and lyrics that will be released to you later this year. Be one of the first groups of fans to experience this fresh blend of songs live in Beaver Dam. The artist recently teamed-up with the artist-driven label Red Street Records to bring his fans the perfect harmony of music, vision and partnership.
Lane recently teased fans about the new album and partnership in downtown Nashville while performing some of his newest tunes. He held an intimate concert at Margaritaville for a select group of local fans, while also performing for millions of subscribers on the SiriusXM Highway channel.
While enjoying Lane’s newest releases, you will enjoy hit after hit from the rising, country music star who has already established himself with several hits and collaborations with artists like Scotty McCreery. Lane recently collaborated with Lauren Alaina on the 2022 hit, “Dancing in the Moonlight” after other recognized tunes like “Fix”, “Big, Big Plans” and “I Don’t Know About You” were well-received on his earlier albums.
Since Lane released his debut album Girl Problems in 2016, he has had nothing but success with his personal discography and no “girl problems” of his own. His singles “I Don’t Know About You”, “Fix” and “Big, Big Plans” all reached Number One on the US Country Air Play charts. He was nominated and given a nod by the ACM Music Awards in 2017 as best New Male Vocalist of the Year. And during the same year received a nomination for Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Lane’s face was found on the pages of PEOPLE’s 2019 Sexiest Man Alive issue. The heartthrob also married The Bachelor’s Season 20 winner, Lauren Bushnell, in 2019. The couple has two children.
Lane is just one of the many free acts that you can enjoy for no additional charge while attending the Dodge County Fair on August 16-20. Evening entertainment on the Moraine Park Main Stage is included with your paid gate admission to the fair. Friday evening will feature Jameson Rodgers on the same stage with his own country music hits. A third, much-anticipated concert announcement will be made later this month for Saturday evening. All three concerts begin at 8pm.
The Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull will boost the crowd when the fair kicks off with a high-energy show on Wednesday evening at 7pm. Two free events on Sunday will conclude with back-to-back demolition derbies at 1 and 6pm.
