Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter, Jameson Rodgers has toured with top-notch acts like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker and Luke Combs all across the country. But local fans can catch him performing hits from his debut album “Bet You’re from a Small Town” at the 2023 Dodge County Fair. Rodgers is set to take the small-town stage at 8pm just outside of Beaver Dam on Friday, August 18. The album has multiple hits that launched his country music career, like “Some Girls” and “Cold Beer Calling My Name” (featuring Luke Combs)”. Both reached number one on the US Country Music airplay charts.
His expressive singer-songwriter lyrics will have you leaving this concert with all of the emotions that a well-executed concert should — as you sing and swing along. The themes embrace upbeat songs of celebration that are perfect for the concert setting as well as moving love and breakup songs that will have couples dancing in the grandstands.
His hit “Some Girls” was streamed by many on replay during the pandemic and went on to reach over 207 million on-demand streams in 2020 and further reached number 17 on the Billboard’s 2020 year-end Country Airplay Songs ranking. Fans will also recognize admired hits like “Midnight Daydream” and “Missing One” during Rodgers’ performance in Beaver Dam.
Rodgers joins Chris Lane in the lineup of entertainment. Lane will warm-up the grandstands on Thursday evening and then Night Ranger will take the stage on Saturday. Both free concerts will begin at 8pm. Seating is available on a first come basis, so arrive early to claim your spot. Additional free entertainment is available at the fair on Wednesday evening, when the Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull is scheduled from 7-10 pm. And two demolition derbies take place at 1 and 6 pm on Sunday. Beaver Dam is just a short drive from Green Bay, Milwaukee and Madison.
The fair season is scheduled for August 16-20. Attendees will enjoy free evening entertainment and activities each day at the fair. Onsite 2023 Dodge County Fair tickets will be available at the Fairgrounds gate for only $10 before 12:00 Noon or $15 in the afternoon or evening. Season passes may also be purchased at the Fair for $40. Children ages nine and under are admitted for free with a paid adult.
