When the gates open for the 2023 Dodge County Fair season on August 16, you can grab a snow cone, enjoy the pig, duck and goat races, watch a variety of beef and cattle judging competitions — and then you can grab your first ride on the tilt-a-whirl at 1:00 pm with your all-access wristband. For a discounted rate of $25/session, you can be one of the first fair-goers to enjoy the tilt-a-whirl and other midway rides this year. Wristbands are available from 1-5 pm and again from 6-10 pm. Rides will be closed from 5-6 pm (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) for detailed cleaning and maintenance. The same wristband promotion will be offered at the same times on Thursday and again on Friday evening.
Thursday, kids will be able to enjoy a special kids wristband on the midway from 1-5 pm, enjoying unlimited rides for only $20. They will be able to ride, spin and climb on all of their favorite rides until they’re dizzy. Kids can also take their shot at one of the many carnival games that the kids look forward to all year long. Give your chance at ring toss, basketball or one of the many other games on display for prizes.
Families can spend some time together on the midway on Saturday when Family Day provides families with even more discounted offerings. From 12-5 pm, families can enjoy twenty ride tickets for $10 (half-off) or individual tickets at $1.25/ea.
Midway rides will also be open on Sunday afternoon at regular prices from 12-5 pm.
