Take your Saturday afternoon plans outdoors to the Dodge County Fairgrounds. On September 16 “The Pull”, presented by J&A Branded, will be returning for a second competition this season. The daytime competition will begin at 2pm, promising three full hours of exhilarating, affordable fun for all who attend. The Midwest Tractor and Truck Pullers Association is based out of southeastern Wisconsin and will put on a show featuring trucks and tractors from all over the Midwest, including many local participants. Participating classes will include: Barnyard Gas Trucks, Outlaw Gas Trucks, Pro Gas Trucks, Muscle Tractors, Modified Tractors, 3.0 Diesel Trucks, Street Diesel Trucks, Workstock Diesel Trucks and Outlaw Diesel Trucks. Come out to Beaver Dam to support your favorite competitors.
Gates open at 12:00 Noon on Saturday. Convenient, online tickets are now available for purchase. Save time at entry and purchase your tickets in advance. Cash and Venmo will also be accepted at the gate. Admission is only $15 for adults. Children 14 years and under will receive free admission with a paid accompanied adult, making this an extremely affordable outing for families planning to attend.
A 50/50 raffle to benefit the local fire departments will once again be held, if you run low on cash for tickets or concessions there’s an ATM at the grandstand.
Those hoping to participate in all of the fun on the track, should plan to arrive prior to 1:30. Members and non-members will both be charged a $20 hooking fee. Participant questions may be directed to Anna at 262-210-2920 or [email protected].
Leave your coolers at home. No carry-ins will be allowed for this event. The Concession Stand will be open with a wide range of food and beverages for sale. Before you head to the Fairgrounds, make sure that you follow and check the Dodge County Fairgrounds’ Facebook page for any last-minute weather updates. If track conditions aren’t favorable for performance, the event will not be held.
