The Dodge County Fair will open its gates for the fair season on Wednesday, August 14. The 2024 Dodge County Fair season is filled with five jam-packed days of free entertainment, live music and demonstrations on August 14-18. Opening day’s schedule will include: pig, duck and goat races, the Ready Go dog show, Nick’s Kids Show and Wild World of Animals Show, showmanship competitions, as well as $30 wristbands from 1-5pm and 6-10pm on the midway for opening day. After a fun day at the fair, attend the FREE truck and tractor pull at 7pm, hosted by the Badger State Tractor Pullers (BSTP). The two 300 foot tracks will feature three hours of fun for the whole family.

Alan Paulson states that there will be approximately fifty competitors returning for Wednesday night’s event. This annual competition will feature various pro stock tractors and some of the top-running diesel trucks in the country. Classifications will include: Pro-stock Tractor (PST), Limited Prostock Tractor (LPST), 540 Light Pro Tractor (540LP), Super Farm (SF), Light Limited Super Stock Tractor (LLSS), Limited Pro Diesel Truck (LPDT). This will be BSTP’s most popular event of the whole year. You won’t want to miss the friendly competition and excitement from the grandstands.

Competitors will have a driver’s meeting at 6:15 and should plan to arrive by 6pm.

Entertainment and parking are free for Wednesday’s pull. Attendees only need to purchase their admission to the Dodge County Fair on Wednesday. Please no carry-ins and review our website for seating options before attending.

2024 Dodge County Fair tickets are available for advance purchase – with two pass options ($15 single-day pass; $35 five-day season pass). Advance ticket sales will afford attendees more time to enjoy at the fair on Wednesday, with faster, convenient entry through the gates. Season tickets may also be purchased for $35 at most Dodge County Banks, Beaver Dam Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office.
