Will there be fireworks?
Thanks for asking C – We have done fireworks in the past but none are scheduled for this year. That’s a great idea, we would need sponsorship but that’s something we could work on for next year. Thank you for the suggestion!
Any way the fair staff could suggest the stage acts actually start at 8 PM as advertised. Also does the volume have to be so loud that I see people put in ear plugs or leave. I myself put in ear plugs last night.
Sorry about those issues Matt – There is not much we can do, the entertainers run into technical issues that prevent them from starting on time. In the best interest of a good show, it is better to start late than have a show without everything working. Same with the volume, each artist controls the volume, everyone has a setting they feel is appropriate. Thank you for attending, we hope these issues are rare and you can enjoy a future concert at the Dodge County Fair.
Can I only get the ‘before noon’ $10 tickets in person – not online? I don’t see that price listed on the online ticket site…
Good question Susan – The $10 tickets are only available in person, with cash payment at the ticket gate when you arrive. We could not find a way to separate the different ticket types on the same day, this is our first year using online tickets so maybe we will find a way in the future. Thank You!
How much are the wristbands for children from 1 to 5?
Good question Judi – There are many Wristband sessions on the midway throughout the Fair. There’s one time, from 1-5 on Thursday for $20, all other sessions are $25. See the complete list of discounted carnival ride promotions on our website at https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/dodge-county-fair/rides-and-midway-information/
Is there only a senior discount on Thursday? Why are there different gate prices listed in the paper?
Good question Kathy – The Senior Citizen discount of $2.00 off coupons are only valid from 8 AM to 12 Noon on Thursday. Eligible seniors (55 years or older) must pick-up a coupon at Professional Floor Covering, 713 Park Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916 to get discounted admission. Sorry if the paper printed incorrect gate prices, please always refer to our website for official information, here’s a link to our FAQ https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/faq-items/what-are-the-admission-prices-to-the-county-fair/
