Can you pay by check or card?
Good question Beverly … Please make check payable to Dodge County Fair Association and thank you for supporting the non-profit Fairgrounds!
We have a 19 foot RV, do we just come up on the first day and wait in line to store it? Approximately what would be the cost? Looking for a secure place, we feel this is a good place and inside. No problems with mice and rodents? Thank you.
Thank you for asking Jerry … Our Indoor Storage Facility is available from October to April and fees are; $200 per season (6 months) for items up to 17 feet long (including hitch), $10 per each additional foot over 17 feet long. Using this pricing structure your 19′ RV will cost $220 as long as you have included the length of the hitch and anything extra on the rear of the RV. We charge for the total length of the item being stored. We just added another building this year so we do not plan on running out of space but you never know for sure.
We have a 25’ Triton boat we would be looking at the second drop off date; do your spots fill up by that date for larger boats? Cost for this size? Thanks.
Thanks for asking Janis … We added another 60 x 120 building this year so hopefully we do not run out of available space. Tall RVs are the most limited, boats we usually have lots of room. We charge for the total length so a 25′ boat might actually be 27′ or more with the hitch and motor on the ends. Estimated price $300 for the season based on $200 per season (6 months) for items up to 17 feet long (including hitch), $10 per each additional foot over 17 feet long.
Good afternoon. I am interested in storing my GTO there this winter. I see in the pics it has a gravel floor and fans to circulate air. Is there electrical to plug in a battery tender, and is it heated? Thanks!
Thank you for asking Josh … We have several buildings, each with different floors as they’re used during the Summer for various events. Collector cars are stored separate from the RVs and boats on concrete or blacktop floor. We recommend batteries be removed or disconnected during storage, electricity is cut to most buildings during the Winter. Please let us know if you have any other questions, storage is a great fundraiser for the non-profit Fairgrounds, we appreciate your support.
Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I will be bringing the GOAT in for storage for sure! My wife will be happy to have her garage spot back! Thanks again!
We would like to bring our trailer back again this year for storage. We would also like to have the exhibition hall again. Is This possible on the final day of Oct 26? What is the release day. We really appreciate how you take care of our property.
Thank you for the question Bob and Kathy … Spots and locations are filled by size and first-come, first-pick by the volunteers. We do not currently take reservations (maybe in the future) although we are adding another very large building this year so there should be no problems with good indoor storage spots. Release days for 2020 will most likely be the first and third Saturdays of April, check our website calendar for exact dates when posted at https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/events/category/winter-storage-2/
