Sawyer Brown in concert

American country music group, Sawyer Brown, will be kicking-off the free 2019 Dodge County Fair concert series. The band will appear with their recognizable hits for the third time on the grandstand stage in Beaver Dam.  The five-man band, includes Mark Miller (lead vocals), Gregg “Hobie” Hubbard (keys/piano), Jim Scholten (bass), Joe “Curly” Smyth (drums/percussion) and its newest member, Shayne Hill (lead guitar).

Fans will recognize their Top 5 hits, “I Don’t Believe in Goodbye” and “This Time”, among fifty other melodies who have entered the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Sawyer Brown is decorated with three certified gold albums and a Horizon Award from the Country Music Association (1985) and a well-deserved Vocal Group of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music (1997). TNN Music City News Country Awards also awarded the band five Vocal Band of The Year Awards.

The concert series, tractor pull and all other grandstand entertainment are always FREE with paid gate admission to the fair.  Attend the fair for only $5.40 per day with the purchase of a season ticket.  Daily gate admission is $7 before 12:00 pm; or $10 after 12:00 pm.  Children age nine and under are FREE.  Season tickets are only $27 in advance or $35 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at most Dodge County Banks, Recheks Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office. Please NO CARRY-INS.
