Tracy Byrd in concert
August 15, 2024 @ 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Well-decorated country music veteran, Tracy Byrd, will share some of his thirty hit singles with a crowd of fans in Beaver Dam on August 15. Byrd will take the Moraine Park Main Stage on Thursday at 8:00pm. Fans should be ready for a really entertaining time.
Of his thirty hit singles, eleven of them were Top Ten hits. Billboard number-one hits included “Holdin’ Heaven” in 1993 and “Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo”, a popular go-to party song, later in 2002.
One of Byrd’s most familiar hits is a popular love ballad. It is most recognized for being played at weddings over the decades since its release. “The Keeper of the Stars” is a fan favorite to dance along to at weddings and sing along to at his concerts. The melody and the lyrics received several nods by Byrd’s peers. In 1996, the song won Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards. It was also nominated by the Country Music Association Awards for single of the year in 1995.
Tracy Byrd fans only need to pay their admission to the Dodge County Fair to attend. Daily gate admission is $10 before noon; or $15 after noon. Children age nine and under are FREE. Season tickets are only $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at most Dodge County Banks, Beaver Dam Food Pride, Beaver Dam or Juneau Piggly Wiggly, Leroy Meats of Horicon and Fox Lake, or at the Fairgrounds Office.

According to the weather report there is a high potential for storms moving into the area around 7:00 pm with possibly damaging hail. I hope this dies down or goes another direction. At what point is a decision made to cancel the Tracy Byrd concert, and if it is canceled is it moved to another day and time?
We will make all attempts to continue with the concert. The only thing that would cause cancellation is lightning in the area. National touring concerts started in 1984 at the Fair and during that span, we have only canceled two shows. It’s also possible that the start time would be delayed. As an outdoor venue we’re at the mercy of mother nature, please stay tuned to our social media for updates.
