Kids, Cops & Canines Summer Safety Day Camp is conducted by professional youth workers, volunteer youth, and adults involved in 4-H and Dodge County Law Enforcement. Youth do not need to be in 4-H to attend this day camp. 4-H is the Youth Education Program of the University of Wisconsin-Extension.

The contest gives beef project youth the opportunity to demonstrate project growth by practicing their fitting skills and competing for prizes. Fitters will have one hour to fit, groom and care for their animal.

Animal care takes center stage during the Sheep Fitting Contest in the Farm Progress Arena on Tuesday night before the Fair. Sheep project youth demonstrate project growth by practicing their fitting skills and competing for prizes.

Fitters will compete in two categories; Junior Fitters, grades 4-8 and Senior Fitters, grades 9 and older. Held in the Farm Progress Arena, fitters will have one hour to fit their animal.
