We are having a wedding across the street April 30th of 2022, is the campground open that early in the year?
Yes, we plan to open on the third week of April each year.
Is there any tent camping allowed? I have a hunt test coming up on Father’s Day weekend in Horicon. Don’t feel like driving back home for the night then coming back the next morning. Just me and my Lab will be camping on Saturday night.
Sorry, we are not currently licensed for tent camping. If there’s enough interest this is maybe something we could add in the future. For now, we can recommend The Playful Goose campground which offers tent camping https://www.playfulgoose.com/

Can anyone use the dump station?
Yes, the RV dump station can be used separate from an overnight stay for $10 (included in site fee normally). Please drop cash or check payment to the Dodge County Fair Association at the Legion Pavilion drop box using a registration envelope. Thank you for supporting the non-profit Fairgrounds!
Thank you for actually listening to suggestions and not just going through the motions. I greatly appreciate it. I wish you well in this endeavor and I am sure that I will use your facilities numerous times throughout the year
You’re welcome! We appreciate meeting us half-way with a realistic suggestion and we hope you and your friends enjoy your stay at our new RV Park. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns and we would appreciate a review using your favorite camping app or site.
As far as fires go, I know you used to allow fires in above ground fire pits. Will this change or is it set in stone?
Good suggestion – when we wrote the rules we knew permanent fire rings wouldn’t work because the grounds are used for different events. Above ground fire pits provided by the attendee is a possibility, I’ll bring it up for review at the next Fair Association meeting. Thank you! – Dale UPDATE 05/03/2021: Gas grills are recommended, small above-ground fire pits or charcoal grills are permitted with responsible clean-up and ash disposal in steel drum near Site 6.
