Don’t miss the Badger State Tractor Puller’s (BSTP) first event in Beaver Dam since 2019. Tractors will be operated by some energized drivers who are ready to entertain Dodge County Fair attendees across two tracks on Wednesday, August 18th. The three hour event will kick-off the Dodge County Fair’s FREE evening entertainment lineup – Wednesday at 7:00 pm. All spectators need to pay is their paid gate admission to the fair. The event will be held rain or shine, when possible. No rain date has been scheduled.

Vehicles will push over 25 mph, pulling sleds weighing approximately 40,000 pounds. Tractors will top over 3000 HP and diesel trucks will be exceeding over 2000 HP on the track. Each 300 foot track will feature “pull offs” with approximately seventy-five participants. BSTP is the premier pulling association within the state of Wisconsin, featuring some of the best competitors in the nation. Competitors will have a driver’s meeting at 6:15 and should plan to arrive at least one hour prior to the event.

Classifications will include: Pro-stock Tractor (PST), Limited Prostock Tractor (LPST), 540 Light Pro Tractor (540LP), Super Farm (SF), Light Limited Super Stock Tractor (LLSS), Limited Pro Diesel Truck (LPDT). Classes will include ten to twenty competitors from all over the Midwest.  The event will feature various pro stock tractors and some of the top-running diesel trucks in the nation.

Start your day early, as there is a full line up of entertainment scheduled during the first day of the fair. Wednesday will bring with it a wide variety of animal showcasing, as well as food and craft exhibits and judging. The 2021 Fairest of the Fair Competition will take place at 5:00 pm. Pig, duck and goat races are also scheduled throughout the day. From 1:00-8:00 pm, midway rides can be enjoyed at a discounted rate, by purchasing a wristband for $25. Family-friendly entertainment will also include the Wild World of Animals and Nick’s Kids Show.

After you enjoy the fair, plan on arriving early in the grandstands. This free event is popular – with close to 4,000 spectators attending each season.
