Dodge County Holstein Futurity Show

Holstein breeders enter animals as calves and show the same animals as two-year-old cows, after they've had their first calf. During the show, exhibitors parade their cows wearing formal attire. Every year, the show arena is filled to standing-room only with spectators.

Junior Britches Showmanship Contest

Youth entering grades 3-4 this school year show calves in the Junior Showmanship Contest. Judging will be based on proper showmanship techniques as demonstrated by the participant and how well the calf is trained. Organized by the Dodge County Dairy Youth Advisory Committee, the event was created to help promote interest in the Dairy Project.
